How to use and maintain candles?

Here are a few tips to prolong your candle lifetime and improve your burning experience!

1. Trim the wick

Both wooden and cotton wicks need to be trimmed to 5mm before lighting them up.

Wick trimmer is a convenient tool to do that, but it can also be achieve with simple nail scissors.

A trimmed wick will ensure a smooth burn and a longer burn time.

4. Wait until the wax surface melts

Before putting out the candle wait until the whole wax surface melts.

This way you will avoid candle "tunnelling" when wax remains on the sides of the container.

Typically it takes 2-3 hours for the wax surface to melt but it may vary based on the size and shape of the candle.
